“We’re not Indians and we’re not Native Americans. We’re older than both concepts. We’re the people, the human beings.”

Welcome to my podcast!

My name is Ian Allison, and I host the Native Film Talk podcast!  I love podcasts and film, so I decided to create a podcast combining the two! I try to highlight and discuss Native American representation in movies and television. Each episode will highlight one movie or TV show. Within each show I recap the plot, cast review, fun facts, representation, and my perspective throughout. I plan to dedicate select episodes to speak with special guests or highlighting significant events in Native American film and television. I hope you find my perspective to be fresh and insightful!
